Model Based Systems Engineering

The San Diego chapter of INCOSE is hosting the 2007 Region II Mini-Conference to expand INCOSE’s continuing exploration of Model Based Systems Engineering.  Presenters and participants may focus on any relevant, related area: preferably examples of proven applications of models, documented benefits of model based engineering, examinations of emerging standards, academic studies, or other such recent works.

Keynote Speaker: Harold W. Sorenson, Professor Emeritus, UCSD Jacobs School of Engineering, founding UCSD faculty member, former Air Force Chief Scientist, MITRE GM, and co-founder Orincon.

Accepted Presentations on the agenda now include:
Benefits of Model Based Engineering
Educating the Workforce on the Benefits of Computer Simulation
A preview to the Model Challenge to be shown at INCOSE 2008
Performance Engineering, Models and Simulations and Visualization & Analysis (PVMA)

Mini-Conference fee:   $25.00 for INCOSE members  /  $50.00 for non-members.
Fee includes continental breakfast and lunch.
