Model Based Systems Engineering

The San Diego chapter of INCOSE is hosting the 2007 Region II Mini-Conference to expand INCOSE’s continuing exploration of Model Based Systems Engineering.  Presenters and participants may focus on any relevant, related area: preferably examples of proven applications of models, documented benefits of model based engineering, examinations of emerging standards, academic studies, or other such recent works.

Keynote Speaker: Harold W. Sorenson, Professor Emeritus, UCSD Jacobs School of Engineering, founding UCSD faculty member, former Air Force Chief Scientist, MITRE GM, and co-founder Orincon.

Accepted Presentations on the agenda now include:
•Benefits of Model Based Engineering
•Educating the Workforce on the Benefits of Computer Simulation
•A preview to the Model Challenge to be shown at INCOSE 2008
•Performance Engineering, Models and Simulations and Visualization & Analysis (PVMA)
•Requirements and Modeling – Benefits of an Integrated approach
•Universal Architecting

Mini-Conference fee:   $25.00 for INCOSE members  /  $50.00 for non-members.
Fee includes continental breakfast and lunch.
