James Penar has extensive experience in systems engineering including integration and test planning. He has experience in the application of information management technology, physical security sensing, detection and assessment technology and electromagnetic effects and hardening on communications and information systems. He most recently worked on qualification and certification of aircraft auxiliary power systems. He has served on the San Diego INCOSE Board of Directors for 3 years and has assisted in planning the MiniConferences in 2009, 2010, and 2011. He received a B.S. in physics from the University of Michigan, a M.S. in physics from the University of Maryland and a Ph.D. in physics from the American University. He looks forward to continue to support the San Diego INCOSE chapter.
